NEXT EVENT AT SAP BUSH HOLLOW FARM (only 14 turkeys left!!)

Our next Chicken pick- up and Meating Day will be Wednesday and Thursday, May 23 & 24, 4- 7 pm. If you have any questions , please call 234-2105 (do not email).

Retail Cuts of our lamb, beef and pork will be available, along with one of the best selections of our hand linked artisan sausages we have ever had.

For the special one in your life (we think that includes you) think about our luxurious woolen blankets, made from our own wool in Prince Edward Island (this is local in the sheep and blanket making world)... a very high quality product, and a customer favorite for years. We are planning on adding spectacular wool yarns for your favorite knitting and crocheting projects for this year.

Shannon has been busy getting her wonderful soaps made again in charming molded designs ready for the open house event.
These soaps are not just another pretty thing...they last and last, smell clean and pure because they are!! She is also making truly old fashioned salve ointments.

Shannon has also been successful in producing hand dipped traditional beeswax and tallow candles (bayberry scented) and genuine hand dippped bayberry beeswax candles. These are wonderful on your table or as a thoughtful gift. She has also made lard and beeswax face salves and lip balms with delightful scents.

We look forward to your visit and hope you will join us for a great cup of coffee, tea and cookies.

THANK YOU FOR CONTINUING TO SUPPORT THIS SMALL FAMILY FARM ON A MOUNTAIN, IN A VALLEY IN THE MIDDLE OF SCHOHARIE COUNTY, NEW YORK

ALL ARE WELCOME...

At Sap Bush Hollow Farm, three generations of the Hayes and Hooper family raise grassfed lamb and beef, and pastured pork and poultry in the hills of Schoharie County, New York. We sell our meats directly to you at the Pakatakan (Round Barn) Farmers' Market in Holcottsville, NY, and at our monthly on-farm open houses. You may now find our products every day at Barber's Farm Market Stand on Rt. 30 just south of Middleburgh. While there you will be able to purchase great local vegetables and dairy products with which to create an entire wonderful gourmet meal!!

Bob drove to Prince Edward Island this week to deliver our wool to a knitting mill to be made into the warmest, softest and most beautiful blankets you can find. NEW THIS YEAR WE WILL BE ADDING WOOL YARN TO OUR PRODUCTS. STAY TUNED.

To join our email list, click on the link on the left. You will have a choice to join one of two email lists: The Pakatakan (Round Barn) list subcribers receive 1 email per week while the Farmers Market is open (from Mid May through Mid October), giving our weekly specials and other pertinent farm information. Pakatakan customers are also informed about any on-farm events. If you do not buy your meats at the Round Barn, please select the "Farm-Direct" list to receive monthly notices about our on-farm sales. For up-to-the minute information on what's happening on the farm, follow Shannon's tweets:
